We bought “skip-the-line”- tickets online and were lucky enough to end up in a group of 3 with our own personal, English-speaking tour guide Alessandro. He had studied history and archeology, and it certainly showed. Alessandro took us around the ancient sites and shared some of his considerable knowledge with us. We avoided all the large crowds and had a wonderful time, being guided for three hours and learning a lot about Roman history. Very happy, as this was our last day in Rome, which we will treasure for years to come.
I visited Rome for the first time and the trip was all I hoped for. The Vatican tour was the apsolute highlight. I am soo glad that we spent the money for the guided tour, because it is hard to find your way alone. We could see the most important things in the few hours and could learn interesting background stories. The tour giude was super nice and humorous, even my boyfriend had a lot of fun although the tour is quite long because there is so much to see. Something you must have seen in life... I can only recommend it and thank the organisation for the wonderful experience. I have the feeling we will see each other again in spring 🙂
This was our favorite Roman tour. It is fascinating, historic and cool both in mood and temperature since you are underground. Photos are not allowed since it is a religious and burial site. The underground church is awe inspiring. Not fancy and showy like the Vatican but more real since it is where the early Christians worshipped and we’re buried.
I was in Rome with my friends and we decided to go on a tour of the Colosseum and Ancient Rome. Colosseum has always been my biggest dream to see. This tour has made this experience so much better. The fact that you get to go directly in, without waiting in line is definitely advantage but you get soo much more out of the whole experience. The group was small, the guide was very informative, personal, fun and open to any questions we had. We trully enjoyed it.
We had a great time on this tour. I wanted to see the Colosseum ever since I was little to have this experience with my own kids was amazing. The guide was great and my kids were paying attention to the history so you have big recommendation from us! All the best and maybe we'll see you guys again!!!
I have visited the Colosseum on my own in the past. I have always preferred to visit museums on my own, because I have my own times and I don't like to rush. This time I decided to buy a tour, and I must say that I am genuinely surprised by the fantastic experience. I was guided by a sweet lady called Rossana. She has managed to turn the tour into a daydream in the past. Next time I return to Rome, I will definitely buy another tour with them. In their office there are many brochures with excursions and tours, even private ones. I honestly recommend this agency.
